I started out by getting psyched and presenting ourselves with this nice fresh board for us to get going.
With all the different area out there. I figured we could centralize here for our BOND meetings.
With water at hand, I am prepared to meet the enemy head on Monday with the rest of you.
Look for me posting Monday! As I sure will all of you! Tamara

It's 7:32am here. First on my agenda is to get my family off to work and school. Secondly grab breakfast, shower and then my walk.
I forgot to measure so will dig out my tape measure somewhere today and do that as well.
Once I've accomplished my morning routine, I'll be popping back in here and writing how I felt about my first day.
The enemy is lurking [procrastination], but I have on my battle fatiques, so will be up to fight against any negative forces!
How are the rest of you ladies doing so far? *smiles* Tamara signing out ....for now!

Hey Duchess, Good to hear from you. Tamara reporting.
I just got back [9:05am] after a nice walk. Took two blocks to see if I could do it. I did it and worked up a nice sweat.
My husband decided to stay home, so I hurried to get boys ready, and then grabbed a shower and had breakfast which consisted of 1 c. oatmeal [to help lower my cholestrol], and 1 c. blue berries.
I am still working on the water thing. Very important since I have Edema, and then proceeded on my walk.
Returning with cold ears but a good feeling, I am stopping in to see how everyone else is doing.
I'll be watching myself for my mid morn snack [oatmeal bar] before I plan lunch.
Any suggestions for a lunch? Tamara signing off for now.

Was thoroughly interrogated by the dental hygenist and my dentist but refused to talk. They threatened me with cavities unless I promised to give up sugar (mainly soda).... unfortunately, I will have to cave to their whims.
Had breakfast this morning and am now getting ready to go upstairs and get my midmorning snack. It's been two hours since I ate and I'm actually a little hungry. The weather is crappy here but I'll live... will do my exercise when I get home (promise). Am a little afraid that I even though I'll be following the plan that I won't lose any weight.... but I know that this is impossible...but it's my fear nevertheless. Anyway, I'll post later tonight... hope everyone else is getting off to a great start!

Good morning all! I am off to a good start with breakfast (right on schedule) And I am prepared for the day. Measurements will have to come tonight as I am gonna be late for work if I dont leave soon. Hang in there girls! We can do this. The 1st day may be hard, but much easier with the village of support we have here. Let's make sure we always allow the others to help when we need it, and never be ashamed to say we fell short of our mission. Thats what this forum is all about...... HELPING and ENCOURAGING!!!!!
SO, as we're off to start our day, I have just one thought:
WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Secret Agents! Glad to hear everybody is ready and on their way to a wonderful and exciting mission. My mission started today, with my husband cooking my "special" breakfast. I got a recipe somewhere (I don't remember where) for egg whites cooked with Cream of Tartar, Cinnamon and Splenda. They are beaten in the electric beater until forming peaks, dropped onto a cookie sheet and baked. WOW, they are fantastic! The only part of this mission that I did not look forward to, was getting those egg whites down! This was easy. My husband is going to try cooking up a big batch and putting them in the refrigerator to see how they keep. It's a lot of work, but definately worth it. I won't have any problem getting those babies down. I had my mid morning snack and then I just finished my lunch. I have already drank 50 ozs. of water too! Tonight my husband is going to take my before pictures, if I still have the courage to let him and then I'll post them. It's funny when I think of it.....I won't look like such a skinny camper when you see these pictures, but in the end, I hope to look like one!!! It is raining here so I could not get out for a walk yet, but it is supposed to clear up, so I will go for a walk before dinner tonight. So far, so good! I hope all you girls are having great luck getting started too. Has any of you thought of having a get together in person when we all reach our goals? That might be fun and something to look forward too. What do you all think? Well, I better go and get some things done while the kids are sleeping. (I run a daycare out of my house). Have a great day, secret agents! Talk to you later.

Skinny Camper - the recipe you made with the egg whites was Meringues - just sugar free because of the Splenda. I haven't made them in awhile but I've always kept them in a air tight container on the counter. They stay fresh for awhile.

Greetings. Let me just say that the enemy is keeping my kit at bay. No word when it will arrive but I will hear sometime tomorrow afternoon as to what the status of it is.
I do not get mad often but I am really mad over this. I wanted to start today (my kit was ordered on 10/10 and should have arrived on 10/22).
Hopefully I will hang in there until the package arrives and then I can get down to business and win!
Ruby

Skinny Camper... I forgot to ask... what temp & for how long did you bake your treats? In the past when I've made meringues, I've baked them at a very low heat - and they take FOREVER... hopefully your recipe takes less time and tastes even better! Let me know. Thanks.

Hello fellow agents, I must say I am extremely pleased of the fruits of my labors from yesterday. IF I did not take all of the time to prepare, pre-cook and pre-measure yesterday, I would not be here with you at this point in time for the enemy has a strong ally on its side . . . I woke up with a sore throat and head cold this morning I managed to choke down breakfast and made it to work . . . only to leave early since I really was not feeling too well. I then ended up having to adapt the mid-afternoon and evening meals 'cause I made chicken soup. Luckily my favorite chicken soup consists of simply chicken and rehydrated nutsake mushrooms, no salt or anything else. However, my only worry about the substitution is that I did not use only chicken breast. I used 1/2 of a cornish game hen (I don't have a big enough pot to use a whole game hen! Sometimes I REALLY miss my mother's kitchen . . . ware ). I DID take off the skin and I took out what little bit of oil was still floating on top before drinking the broth (I pretty much cook the chicken to death so there is actually very little reason to eat the meat since all of the nutrition is in the broth). So all in all I don't think I did too badly today. Unfortunately, I already know that I will not be in any shape to exercise tomorrow But I shall have to ponder upon that at a later time, for now I think I'll concentrate on getting some rest! Shira Goodwood Hello fellow Agents, I started my mission off on a good start. I ate my egg whites this morning along with 4 slices of oranges. I know that the oranges are not part of the food group for Body type "B". (Those were the only fruits I had to get my start for the morning.) I will have to shop for the rest of the fruits and vegetables on the list. I did not have quite the 100 oz of water today, but I did get to consume 32 oz. I going to try to increase it as time go by. I skip the snacks for today and replaced it with the water instead. I don't feel as hungry between meals like I use too. So maybe it's begining to work.
