Hey Girls, Well, made it past the dentist only to get sideswiped by the firm's cafeteria.... loaded with deadly traps even first thing in the morning. I almost got taken in the lure of fresh corned beef hash but hung tough and picked up egg whites, grapefruit and pineapple for my midmorning snack. Even though the grapefruit was pretty ripe, I found that the pineapple juice really sweetened it up! I drank most of my water but found that I need to slow down on the intake after 3pm... by that time my body is refusing to take it all like a sponge and found that I had to run to the bathroom every ten minutes or so. My officemate thought this was pretty funny. I barely made it home before having to bolt for the bathroom.... I guess this is the humorous side of weightloss...
It's 9:17 and must admit, I gave in to my weakness...soda...had a can of coca cola.... I figure I'll have to wean myself off this stuff - otherwise I will end up with a caffeine withdrawal headache which is never fun....other than that I've stayed true to course...sounds like everyone else managed to have a good day too.
THANK YOU to all of you for the support...just hearing how you are all dealing with the ins and outs of managing this life change is so encouraging... I now raise my water glass to all of you... Cheers!

Good morning Angels..I mean Agents. *grins* Well, it is 3:38am, my apena has me up, along with another enemy [pats behind and laughs].
I too ended up with a really sore throat, low temp fever, and the likes. So though my morning yesterday was good, I found myself still fighting the enemy [carbs]off and on.
So my meals consisted of:
Breakfast: oatmeal/blueberries with splendra Lunch: Bologna/cheese sandwich with jello Dinner: Sirloin/cheese burger w/baked fries and jello
Pre-snacks were: grain and fruit/nut bars for fiber.
Keep in mind, my enemy is my HIGH cholestrol at this time, so am trying to lower them with oats and grains.
But I am fighting the enemy with moderation and quantity. I was able to get in 3 bottles of water and a vernors due to sore throat and cold coming on.
I did get an excellent walk in yesterday morning - two large blocks worth.
I live in a quad level house, so going up and down stairs was the norm and even got in a nap due to this yucky cold.
I would have had more accomplished, but my husband stayed home and though I love him, he gets under foot at times.
I wish when he stays home he would help more around the house rather then play games and off and on check his email.
Kind of reminds me of a kid when he does that. Oh well.
He's not feeling too good either, and the rest of the house is sick, so I compensate for that all.
Halloween is almost here, and I was smart, I haven't brought any candy in the house yet for that. Last year I made sure that the only candy that stayed in the house, was that which the kids brought home.
What with everyone feeling yucky, we probably won't go to too many houses this year.
How are you all handling that?
I got in some arm exercises yesterday too with one of my excerise bands that I have.
Well, its almost 4am, going to TRY and get back to sleep if this cold will let me. I had some jello to hopefully ease the ache of my scratchy throat.

Tamara Marble here Good morning Fellow Agents.
It is 7:53am and while watching my little wizards outside getting some fresh air and waiting for the bus, I am getting in a bowl of oatmeal and jello. Though not combined. *grins*
Still have a sore throat this morning, but once the bus goes I am going to hit the shower and get out and get a walk in.
How is everyone else doing this morning?

I did so well all day long- followed my plan 100% and drank all my water until I got home. My mom and my son had pizza and I endulged. So today has to be a new start for me. I bought a food scale last night, as I found myself guessing as to how much 3 oz is, etc. I am not going to give up, though. Good job to the rest of you though! I am so proud of you.

Good Morning Agents! I am so proud of you all doing such a great job. You all sound so positive and that's wonderful! Keep up the great work! Raven Whetmore: My husband said he cooked the egg treats at 350 for about 15 minutes. They are so good. He said he might even try them with almond extract instead of cinnamon for something different. I told him I had to check the plan to make sure that almond extract was ok. Ivana: I sure hope you are feeling better today. I had that same nasty cold over the weekend but it left as quick as it arrived, so you should be feeling better by tonight. Tamara: I also hope you are feeling better too. Those colds sure do set us back a bit. Also, I have a question. How do I get "bond girl" under my name, instead of guest? I couldn't figure that one out. This site is fun....thanks for all your hard work on it. Ruby Scheetz: You're not alone. I also did great on the plan yesterday. I stuck to all my meals on schedule and drank about 75 ozs. of water (still working on the water part) After my daycare kids all went home, I had my scheduled dinner and then went down stairs to fill all the "goodie bags" for the annual daycare Halloween party that I am having tomorrow. My son came home with some news that upset me and then my husband called to say he had to work late and that totally threw me into a tailspin. I ate three (not one) but THREE Hershey candy bars (my biggest weakness) and two glasses of wine! I was so mad at myself after doing so well all day. But, after feeling so guilty all evening, I went to bed with positive thoughts of today. I got up this morning and started all over again. But you know the funny thing about it? I still lost 3 lbs. yesterday! Wow! That gave me the push I needed to get right back on track today. Also, the sun is out, so I will venture out with all the kids for a nice long walk. Keep up the good work Agents. I will check in with you later. Who would have guessed the enemy was hiding in a Hershey bar? ?? Skinny Camper signing out.

Hi Angels..um..I mean Agents.. *grins*
Skinny: the more postings you do, that should change.
It is 9:03am, I just got done doing my measurements, finally. *laughs*
I dread, but know I have to get in my morning walk I have committed myself to.
I know I am naughty, but my husband unplugged the line from his pc and didn't hook it back to the phone. So I haven't heard from him this morning and I am actually enjoying a few minutes peace and quiet before I head out.
When I return, I shall be getting in my water and a shower.
I am so proud of all of you. Together we can complete this mission!

Morning Duchess, Ladies.. I know jello isn't on the plan, but when I have to have something down a sore throat, I would rather that then boullion or broth because of the salt in it. *sighs*
I am still feeling really tired out, and my husband just got home. Yep, looks like the flu has hit us both. *sighs*
I think I'll take a nap and THEN walk. I have to get some energy somewhere. I feel so BLAH.

Good Morning Ladies! Yesterday was an interesting day. The day started with this spaz of a Bond Girl spilling my smoothy, in my hair, on my shirt, on my pants! It was like it exploded! Not the best way to start a Monday! Stayed on plan all day until after dinner...then the evil Chocolate Craving attacked me out of nowhere and I had a Krave bar, not really as bad for me as it could have been, has protien and vitamins but still not on plan. I DID walk (Walk Away the Pounds) yesterday AND do the sculpting bands. I had more than 100 oz. of water I'm sure. I've been drinking a ton of water every day for a long time. So that part is down. Now if I can only dodge the cravings and stick with it! I'm feeling pretty good. I usually do when I'm excercising regularly. Now if all this extra padding could end it's visit that would be AWESOME!! Missions for today - 1 - Measuring, measuring, measuring...I keep forgetting to do that myself!! I will do that tonight when I get home! 2 - Going out to lunch and going to see if I can manage to stick on plan! Wish me luck! sky scheetz - Thanks for the welcome aboard, I tried to reply to it yesterday but my computer wigged out on me!! Tamara - You were a busy busy bee when you couldn't sleep! It looks like a lot of those web pages will be helpful! Hope you are feeling better. Everyone - you're doing awesome keep up the good work! We can do this!! Thanks for creating this and allowing me to be part of it. I look forward to supporting and getting to know all of you!! Have a great day! ;D

Hi Everybody! All of you have been doing sooooo good! I'm so proud of all of you! It's not easy changing old habits even as psyched up as we are.
Although I synchronized my clocks and watches last night, I still managed to get up late this morning. So no exercise or breakfast (at home). I got to my cover (work) and ran upstairs (okay took the elevator to the 37th floor) and picked up: fruit for my midmorning snack, a half a bialy (oatmeal was already gone) and egg whites. So I scarfed down the egg whites and bialy for breakfast...and just had some chicken (which I grabbed while running out the door) and fruit for my 'mid morning snack' @ 12:30... lunch will be obviously a little late.... but the chef must be on our side, because he's roasted up sweet potatoes (so I've heard) so I can nab a little bit of those and have then with my chicken at 'lunch' along with a salad. Whew! This mission is harder than I thought.... I need to plan better (or just get up on time)... I'm going to paint pottery tonight with my officemate and then will walk home.
Tamara - this bulletin board just keeps getting better and better! The games are a great addition.... a game just might be what I need to divert my attention from a trap (food) later in the evening.
Okay everybody...signing out... and yes, I peaked at the scale today too... just couldn't help myself... and was one pound down... but I'm one of those that fluctuate daily in huge swings...but it was nice to see! Talk to you all later!

One thing I thought I'd pass along.... I know a lot of us are focusing on the more leaner proteins, ie., chicken, turkey, fish and egg whites. However, I LOVE beef... can't help it... would rather have prime rib over a turkey breast any day of the week but can hold myself in check when I need to (after all, it's not chocolate or pizza)...
I just wanted to make a quick note that IF you don't eat red meat at least once every three days your body will stop making the enzyme that breaks down this protein. I'm sure you've heard people say things like "I always get sick if I eat red meat so I don't eat it anymore"...those people are probably eating mostly the leaner proteins and every once in awhile trying a steak or burger and then feeling very uncomfortable. That's what happens if your body stops making the enzyme, you feel VERY uncomfortable because it can't break down the protein.... anyway... even though I'm an A (living amongst you B's), I can still have red meat occasionally and will try to sneak a little bit in every couple of days.... Just wanted to pass this info along...

Tamara, I got a recipe off the recipe boards and put it in our recipe section for you to try. It is yummy and it will feel better on your throat. It is plan safe too! It's Chicken Soup made with turnip and collard greens. Sounds funny, but tastes great! Give it a try and I hope you feel better when you wake up.

Hey Ruby, Good job on sticking to the program for most of the day! Have you checked out the recipe forum? There's supposedly an awesome recipe for a "good" pizza, even though it may take a little trial and error to get it right. And the posters say it can be frozen so the next time you're caught off guard you can have YOUR pizza and eat it too without guilt! Ivana
