I just got done making some pretty basic stuffed peppers...I am no cook but they smell really yummy! I have ab out 4oz ground turkey in each one, so I guess I will half of one per meal. I used ground turkey and put in some onion, garlic, oregano, and pepper and used no salt added tomato sauce...that has 15g per 1/4cup...I really hope that will not slow me down. I get confused about the sodium issue because I have done other diets and sodium wasn't a problem as long as I drank enough water...any input on the subject? I know alot of it is bad...but in the book it says even a little will slow you down...and egg whites are naturally high in sodium...go figure! Well I have my food packed for work which will be lunch, snack, and dinner
Lunch is boring with 2oz chicken 1/2 cup rice and 1cup green beans
snack is 2oz chicken and 1/2cup mashed potato
dinner is 1/2 stuffed pepper, 1/2cup potato, and small salad.
I will check in later to let you know how the stuffed peppers taste!!!!! oh yea i put a little rice in the peppers too.
Later agents!

Hi Agents, Tamara - good to hear that you're feeling better. Skinny - Congrats on the 8lbs Sky - Congrats on 2lbs Raven - Congrat on 6lbs Snuggle - Keep up the good work, you're almost at your goal Congrats to everyone on making it this far. (WEEK TWO) I still need to add more exercise to my daily routine. At work I walk up/down 3 flight of stairs to get in some type of workout. I did not stick to the plan 100% today. I fell off so to speak the plan this afternoon. I was doing fine until I got home ate my dinner and had a craving for something sweet. So I indulge in about 10 M&M peanuts. Is there any recipe that involves chocolate that's okay for the plan? Hopefully, my craving for sweets will die down soon. Hope everyone had a wonderful day.

sasha ,I don`t think 15mg of sodium will effect you,it seems when its found in food naturally like in eggs or tomatoes, its okay the problem arises when its a chemical added to make sodium,if that makes any sense, I`ve made stuffed peppers before there great, I just got a recipe idea off the other board and you pound your chicken thin, then stuff it with spinach, but I`m going to add mushroom and garlic to the spinach, stuff the breast, saute in a little white wine. can`t wait to try it maybe this weekend.I hope everyone is doing well.Dutchess candy

Dutchess,
The stuffed chicken sounds yummy! The peppers were pretty good....I was thinking maybe I will use pork next time to switch it up a little bit.
Had a great on plan day today...I hope everyone gets well soon. Keep up the good work agents!

Wow Ladies, we've made it to THURSDAY of WEEK TWO! Doesn't that make you feel great? I would like to wish all you lovely Agents a good morning, and let you know I applaude all of you for your hard efforts! I am slowly on the mend today as long as I don't move around much. That is the only rub for me, because I have laundry to do, dishes to wash, the house to clean, and sick. BLAH *grins* I am so looking forward to getting well. When I do, I am going to be more aggressive and speak up for myself. Changes I've decided on when I get well. 1. Tell my husband he WILL be riding into work with his mother and I WILL have the van to help me find a job from 9-3pm EST during the week. 2. When looking for work, I'll keep in mind to not get a job that will set off my allergies making me sick again. In otherwords, I want to know how the store has their policy for people smoking at work, keeping dust down, and what is expected of me. 3.I will also let them know I cannot work weekends. I have to set my foot down somewhere being a parent. 4. I will also tell my husband that there will be days he will have to ride home with his mom so I can get the boys out to extra corricular activities to help them with their motor skills. So basically, I have some not too far off goals I am going to make, and hopefully that will help me continue with my weight loss and loneliness. As for eating. It has been WAY off still. I am drinking my water though, and that has helped. My throat is still sore, I have no voice, and I still have a cough, but hanging in there. Hope everyone else is doing great! The ENEMY will NOT get us..you know why? Because..

I`m doing real well, already did 35min cardio this am,and was ambushed last night got basketball tickets at the last minute, so I made my hubby stop at wendys to get me a taco salad, just a few chips, but I used the chili for protein and carb, then got just coffee at the game, I really wanted something else, but hubby was`nt hungry so I did`nt want to have anything whole just a nibble so I passed it up.that felt good. I hope everyone checks in soon things have been quiet. dutchess candy

I'm officially on Day 2 of the plan, but I broke last night and ate some pizza....I did great all day!! Didn't cheat one bit...but my demons come around at night, especially when my kids are with their Dad. But I'm sticking to the plan today, and right now I'm going to look through some recipes. I have no problem with the water...I actually drank about 150 oz. yesterday!! I'm about to have my lunch...chicken, rice & broccoli. I'm planning to make those stuffed peppers w/ground turkey...I'm using red peppers, and I'm making some stuffed in tomatoes too, because my kids don't like peppers. You know what I miss? Milk....I drink so much of it, and we're not allowed any! The antibiotic for my strep throat has kicked in, and I'm feeling better today...at least I can swallow easier. I hope the rest of you who are feeling sick start to get better soon! I belong to a place similar to Curves...the 30-minute workout which includes cardio & resistance training....I'm going to try to start going 3 times a week, and doing my Walk Away The Pounds tapes at home. I have a long weekend coming up...my kids are off school Monday & Tuesday....I hope that doesn't make things too difficult. But looking at myself in the mirror is my inspiration! Hope you're all doing well!! Tinkerbell, signing off for now!

Hi agents!
Haven't had a chance to post in awhile. Sounds like everyone is doing great! I'm kind of struggling. I went out to the theatre last night (Wonderful Town - which was WONDERFUL) and came home and had two cokes...yup, two cokes! I don't know what I was thinking..okay, not thinking is more like it. I've been drinking my water so I feel good about that...but I maybe going a little overboard on portion control. So I need to work on it. I made the 5 alarm chili from the kit and it was so-so. I had to add a ton of spices to it to make it really good, not hot but just tasty. Ground breast of turkey can be so blah!
Tamara: Way to go on your goals! I need to fill out the tracking your success part of my book - the part about the short term goals.
Tinkerbell - Pizza yesterday? It happens... I know.... but today's another day, right? It's a slow changeover and well, on those moments when you do slide - enjoy it rather than beat yourself up over it! I LOVE pizza so I understand it's ability to call to you... Have you tried making a pizza using the oatmeal flour suggestion from Provida? Looks good but I haven't had time to try it myself.
Ivana - Glad to hear that you're back in action! TWO GALLONS of water in a day! OMG... That's incredible! I just make it to the 100 oz. mark.
Shira - Welcome to the group! I found this on the Provida website - looks good. Maybe it'll help with your chocolate cravings?
Brownie Bites
2 egg whites 1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract 1/4 cup oatmeal flour (for any newbies, that's oatmeal processed in the blender!) Splenda to taste – She made it with ¼ C
Beat egg whites till white and a little stiff. Add Splenda and vanilla. Then add cocoa and flour and beat untill well blended. Place in a mini-muffin tin for 6 brownies @ 350 degrees for 10 minutes. You get all six!!!!! counts as a protein and a carb
Dutchess & Sasha - You are both doing fantastic this week! Hats off to you for planning and toting your lunch and snacks to work everyday! Dutchess - you are so committed - a cooler with your meals while you do errands! I need to take notes from you guys!
A note about the concern over sodium.... Everybody needs sodium in their body to live. It's just that processed foods require tons of it to taste decent so we end up overdosing on the stuff. Eating the 6wbmo way will curb your sodium levels naturally. I suffer from high blood pressure and take medication for it daily. I have noticed a significant drop in my bp (I monitor it daily) since eating on the plan. The reason being that we're eating more whole foods. I still buy some stuff that's already made/packaged because of time constraints but I know I'm doing a heck of a lot better than what I was doing two weeks ago. Unless you have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, I wouldn't worry too much about egg whites and the like. Egg whites are fine for everyone but a person who has high bp just needs to be more aware. Places where sodium really gets you - anything canned will have more sodium than something fresh or frozen. If you use canned beans, always rinse them to get rid of the extra salt. Baked potatoes in restaurants are usually 'rolled' in salt prior to serving. SALAD DRESSING is notorious for having HIGH levels of sodium - always check the label if you're using bottled dressing. I use a salad dressing from Vong - a honey balsamic dressing that has a really low sodium count and tastes divine. I also put my salad in a bowl or baggie and then drizzle some dressing in the container - and then shake it up. This way I use very little dressing but get a little taste in every bite. Sorry to go on and on.... I've been watching my salt intake now for a year so it's a big deal for me. I'm hoping to get my doctor to cut the med level in half when I drop some more pounds (no more soda for me)... and then eventually get off them completely.
Okay... I'm done...whew!
Talk to you later... Raven...out ..on the move

Hi Fellow Agents...
Glad to hear everyone is doing so well. I'm so proud of you! You're awesome!
This is such a great group of people! Thanks for being you!
I'm going to come clean, I don't think I've been on plan for 3 days now. I stink and I know it. I'm trying to stick with the mini-meals and I've always been a mega water drinker.
I'll be honest I'm going through some emotional rollercoaster issues right now and the planning of my meals no matter how routine they are and the cooking wasn't in the cards this week. Plus I have a very good friend who is leaving this weekend and that makes the 4th friend that isn't going to be here so I'm dealing with that too!
I'm trying to be dedicated but right now it isn't happening. I did get a little excercise but haven't walked since last week.
Anyway, I'm glad to hear people are feeling better!
Have a wonderful day!
Sorry I'm not myself these days!
Take care - Sky (Pitty Pary of One) out

Hey Sky, Take heart...remember eating is part of that emotional rollercoaster! It's hard that your immediate support group is dwindling but remember, if you need support - We're here for you! That's what we all signed on for! (right girls?).... this is tough, no doubt about it...and left to our own devices, it's easy to succumb to food temptations. I'm finding that if I can't get my lazy butt out of bed in a timely fashion, my whole eating plan slides. But this is a change I need to make too - along with the eating. Take a deep breath...pat yourself on the back for even starting this... and redetermine to start anew! At least when New Year's Eve comes along - you won't be starting from scratch... you'll already be ahead of the game!
Hang in there! We're with you...every step of the way...and when you think you're going to slide, remember you're not alone and we're all facing the same problems and emotions...BUT think about Monday and reporting your changes. (I'm now talking to myself)... I have to keep my eye on the ball... reporting in on Mondays... if you need more help, maybe we can create an internal challenge - a day by day thing... I haven't been exercising yet (what am I waiting for? oh who knows)... whatever is your problem area... let us know...and we'll come up with something... we're certainly a creative bunch...
bottom line.... stick with it... Raven.... running off to save (maybe not the world) but my boss from software disaster...

Don't fret! Every great journey has bumps in the road...as long as you don't lose sight of your destination you will be fine.
Today is good so far, didn't cheat this week except for that one M&M the other day at lunch. I am pretty sick of ground turkey....too bland. Made up about 8 chicken breasts today. Sauteed them first then threw them in a roasting dish with some potatoes, carrots, garlic, onion, pepper, and broth...smelled so yummy in the house...this is the first time I ever tried to make chicken this way...it came out nice and juicy! So I have my chicken for about 4days made...got them on sale...great deal!!!!
I get inspired when I read about everything everyone is accomplishing here...keep it up agents!!!!

Hello Agents! I'm almost 100% now, just still have slight problems catching my breath at times when it gets too cold and I walk too fast so I'll probably limit myself to the less strenuous exercise videos... speaking of which, I also bought the Walk Away the Pounds videos to supplement my growing collection (I MUST have variety...) but I ordered them from overstock.com so they won't be here until tomorrow or Saturday. I've also decided that I'm going to restart my program starting Sunday instead of Monday so I can catch up sooner! I'm so proud to be with a group that's willing to admit their mistakes and flaws. Afterall, no one is perfect and no one wants to be in support group when it seems like no one else needs any support! ;D Sasha - Thank you for posting what you eat in your meals, I'm always wondering how others are dealing with the 2oz of protein at every meal and even though we're all using the same materials, it's still really comforting to know that someone else is eating almost the exact same thing throughout the day! dutchess - The stuffed chicken recipe definitely seems worth trying and dessert ... ;D Tinkerbell - I'm so glad you mentioned replacing the pepper in Sasha's recipe with tomatoes! I love the flavor of green and red peppers but don't actually like to EAT bell peppers so I was thinking of mincing some peppers to add to the stuffing mix but I couldn't think of what I'd stuff them in! Now I can try the recipe Sky - Keep in mind that we're all here with you and for you. Take it easy on yourself, just keep taking baby steps and don't give up! Also remember to be honest with yourself and know when you've hit your limit. No one expects you to be perfect and if "life" happens to slap you down then know that we'll be here to help you get back up. So what if you really don't have the time or the heart to stay on 100% on the mission, break it up into bits. Even if you end up eating out, try to consciously make smart choices 'cause eating badly and treating yourself badly will not make you feel any better but knowing that you're strong enough and smart enough to adapt to the situation will! So don't give up and hang in there! (Afterall, I'm just restarting again and I'll need all the help I can get!) Raven - I have the same problem as you re: waking up in the morning issue, that's why "going to bed by 11:30pm" was (is/will be!) one of my Week 1 goals. I'm such a nightowl that I can barely drag myself up in the morning for work and then the weekends REALLY mess me up since I don't have to go anywhere! (speaking of which, can I have your job Sasha? Sounds like the perfect schedule for someone like me! ) As for the 2 gallons of water, I actually have problems because I drink TOO much water. I do not have low blood pressure but I usually keep saltines or packets of salt with me 'cause sometimes I drink so much water that my electrolyte levels get a little weird and I'll feel all dizzy and lightheaded so part of what I'm trying to do as part of the mission is to keep track of how much water I drink so I can make sure I don't go under OR over by too much! Tamara - Feel better soon!!! As always, congrats to everyone on making it this far and still being here and also thanks to everyone for still being here 'cause support is good! Ivana - who has already started up the grocery list again and is getting ready to come off leave and go active

Hello Angels..I mean Agents *winks* Well, though tired, I am hanging in there. If only I could stop coughing up furballs *laughs*. My 6 yr old is home sick since yesterday. Today is a 1/2 day of school for my 9 yr old, so he should be home shortly. I will probably take a nap when he does and then start on my laundry. I am very proud of everyone. Yes, we all have our rollercoasters, but you know what, we also have the ability to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. *smiles* I like that stage, because that's when we take back our power and ability to be what we want to be. It is our TAKE CHARGE time. So when something gets you down. Don't let it depress you, let it FUEL you to change it. Because you know you can. Maybe not the way you would like. But, we all have choices. We may not be able to change OTHERS, but we CAN focus on US. That's the stage I am at. I'll just take my meds, get my rest and when I am well enough stop feeling sorry for myself and get out there. I guess it had to take finances to get this bad to make me wake up and smell the coffee. If I want things better, I have to take responsibility too. I might not make as much as my husband, but I can contribute and get things back on target after time. I truely believe that. I just have to get organized on what I want out of life, my goals, my dreams and put that seed in and help to make it grow into a reality. We can do this with losing weight as well. I have found that when I am well and active, that I feel so much younger. And then by feeling so, I present to the world the I CAN DO vision. Each of you are doing the I CAN DO as well. People around you at home and at work see that. Look at last week, and this week. We're all feeling better about ourselves, losing weight, learning what works for US. My goodness girls....we are a FORCE to be reckoned with! *laughs* Ever see those commericals of the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy walking towards the screen? Laugh..but that's how I see us...Women in Charge..walking towards life and meeting it head on! We rock girls..and don't forget it! So, on that note, I'll get another mug of water and head to lay down for a bit. Time for my meds. Have a GREAT weekend and PAT YOURSELF on the BACK. You deserve it! Keep those recipes coming..but..um..*blushes* could you POST them under RECIPES as well? That way people don't have to go through the threads to seek them out. Thanks! Tamara signing off for now!

My kit just arrived!!! I only have been waiting just a few days short of 1 month!
I'm going to view the video and get started so I can plan everything out and start I guess on Monday.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions (other than water...that's going well!)
