Good morning Agents!
You'll laugh what happened to me Sunday. I am so silly at times!
I did really well with morning. I got over to the mall and since feeling better, I did my mall walking from 9-10am.
I did stop to McDonalds for a McGriddle, but made sure to have bacon instead of sausage in the meal. I had a coffee and a small orange juice with it.
Then when I got back home I continued to work around the house cleaning and then spent time with family.
I spent some time reading, playing on the pc, then it was time for dinner.
My husband earlier had taken out hamburger. You'll laugh what happened next.
It was still slightly frozen, so I put it on the stove to cook at a slower pace.
Well, I got caught up in other things, my husband was laying down, and suddenly I smelt this smell..then noticed when I went towards this smell, there was all this smoke..
Needless to say, I fried the buggers. *laughs* LITERALLY
So my husband gave me money and said..go get McDonalds.
Well, I ordered him and me chicken, the the rest of the family what they wanted.
So it ended up a healthier dinner of sorts..*laughs* And thank goodness for LYSOL!
Now..today is MONDAY...Our 4th week.
Though I gained 2 lbs last week, it was due to TOM and so can't give myself the riot act for that one. Just taking it in stride.
Today I have an interview for ReMax to work as their receptionist. Hoping it pays more, the hours are longer then KMarts. Then it will be up to me to find a Babysitter on vacation time and holidays as well as find someone who will be here between 3:30-4pm to wait for them to get home from the bus from school otherwise.
Keep me in your prayers! And everyone keep up the great work and have a great new week!
Tamara signing out for now!

Goodmorning girls!
I have re-joined the ranks as [glow=red,2,300]secret agent RubyScheetz![/glow] I am so happy to be back! I have been reading over the successes of all of you and I am [shadow=red,left,300]AMAZED[/shadow] at the progress you have all made! You are all an inspiration to me for sure! Tamara- You are in my prayers. You will make it through the hard times. We have all been there. You have a ring of support now- not just for your diet, but for your life. I for one know how vital that simple factor can be. So hang in there- keep fighting- and remember we're here for you! So--- I started my day pretty well... I whipped the egg whites with sugar twin and cinnimon and baked the puffs in the oven. They weren't too bad, although the texture isn't my favorite. And I had 1/2 grapefruit (my favorite) and some coffee. So I'm off to a good start. I'll check in later to see how you all are doing. See ya soon! --Ruby

Hi Ladies.
Sorry that I have been MIA since last week sometime.
I just found out that my best friend is in the hospital and they don't know what's wrong. They have guesses but nothing concrete from testing. So I'm in a bit of a tailspin right now. Not eating out of control or anything. Not eating much to be honest. I'm a mess. They even said today that she 'could' die from this. I will totally lose my mind. I can't deal with this. I'm trying to be positive but I'm really really scared. She lives in another state and won't let me come out there until they figure out what is wrong. THEN she says I can come.
Just wanted to let you all know I haven't forgotten about you, I'm not giving up but I may not be here every day. Sorry. I still think you are all amazing and are my inspiration to keep on going.
I haven't gained or lost so that's good. Still the same weight this morning.
Keep it up, you are all wonderful!
Sky - out
(and I thought I was emotionally a mess before now I'm definitely not doing well)

Hello Agents: Ruby - Welcome back! ;D Sky - Remember to take care of yourself. Tamara - My fingers remain crossed. Raven - We all slip sometimes but at least you still ended up losing a bit so good for you! As for me, I did okay today, had the turkey chili with 1/2 potato and then rice for various meals throughout the day. Out of curiosity I bought some collard greens and they're so bitter! Anyone have a good recipe? I also made some curry chicken so even though I didn't get a chance to do all the cooking yesterday I think I'm okay for the rest of the week (especially since I've also got a 2 lb bag of lovely frozen shrimp in the freezer Hope everyone's having a good evening and hang in there! Well, agents, another good day.
I had the whole day to spend experimenting with recipies and what-not for the week, and I think I came up with some pretty good ones.
I made the vegetable omelets from the boards- with spinach and onions and eggwhites baked in muffin tins. I thought they would be really handy for a super-quick mid morning snack.
And the fruit smoothies are out of this world. My 4 year old son thinks I'm spoiling him cuz I made him a smoothie for breakfast. He loved it as much as I did!
I don't like the cinnimon sugar eggwhites baked in the oven. Overall, the texture just isn't to my liking.
The canteloupe wrapped in turkey is scrumptious.
And I am going to have to find something to do to chicken to liven things up a little.
But I am in love with this lifestyle change- the food is great..... And the water is growing on me..... The exercise- not yet, but eventually.
Sky- I am thinking about you. Keep praying.
How is everyone doing on total losses so far?
Can't wait to see the results on ME too!!!!
Im off to bed now..... Sweet dreams!

This is agent Kitty Fiehlguud here. Just found your board and I think it's fabulous! I hope you all don't mind if I join you. I'm just starting, this is my firrst week. I'm hungry but have stuck to it pretty well so far. And I've worked out for the last two days, which is a huge deal, since I used to be a major gym person, but have not stepped foot in a gym since the beginning of the summer. I feel positive but a little tired (I have a new baby--2 and a haf months old). It seems like the hardest thing for me right now is not picking at my two year old's food. I absent mindedly put a pretzle in my mouth about 5 times today. Wishing everyone a good week! Kitty signing out.

Hello Agents: Welcome to the good fight Kitty! When's your sister-in-law's wedding? Ruby, do you have a crockpot? Sasha did a crockpot chicken thing that sounded delicious. I did pretty good today, although I got my snacks confused and had the afternoon snack in the morning and the morning snack in the afternoon! I'm slightly hypoglycemic so I usually have a mouthful or two of carbs with the meals that are not suppose to have carbs but having the full portion that early made me a little tired I also found myself way too full by the time I finished lunch so the mid-afternoon snack ended up being roughly an hour later than usual. Other than that everything went great. Is anyone else finding doing dishes easier without the added oils? Oh, and I also added more cardio today (until now my exercises have been "easy cardio" and core/pilates/yoga type moves) which means my water intake went up again since I was sweating like crazy since it's been over 3 months since I've done any "real" cardio! Good morning Angels..I mean Agents *grins* Ruby - So true about how vital this circle is to me. The poor people in bootcamp got my PMS when I got a PM from a lady just because I didn't post every day. Oh well, life goes on. I really love this place here and everyone in it. It's growing to be one big happy family. And in a sense, that's what we are. A family. Agents yes, but a family no less. *smiles* I am so glad you're back. I just love hearing how everyone's day went, both good and bad. Together we can all deal with it and know we're not alone. What type of grapefruit do you eat? The pink or the yellow? I just bought some recently. Not sure if I like them or not. *laughs* Sky - I have a pen pal since 81 who lives in another state, and I tell you, when she gets sick, I am like you, I worry. Thankfully her family is there to offer her support otherwise, I would be busting my behind to get out there to give her my support. She has apena, but one that is more like adult SIDS. She's seen me through 2 marriages, 4 children, 2 miscarriages..you get the idea. I'll be keeping you and your friend in my prayers. ok? *smiles* Know we're with you. And understand if you don't post everyday. Just know we're here. Dutchess - Just like a man to not realize that we feel our defenses down if we're not looking our best in front of their friends and peers. Remember you could have done alot worse then fried shrimp *winks* I am very proud of you holding up as well as you did. Of course, I am sure that those that saw you without the glam look knew your beauty from the inside already, right? *smiles* I know we see it every day you post. Hang in there. Remember you were going to lunch with your husband, not his work crew. *grins* Also, dress up for you, not for anyone else. Why? Because you deserve it! Of course, if you enjoy those days off when you don't have to fuss, don't let life on the outside get to you. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if their wives don't do the same, so they are all used to it. *smiles* A BIG hug there for you! As for the job interview for ReMax, they said they would need someone after the first of the year, and took my name. Personally, I don't think I am going to follow that route because by the end of school season, I would be losing money finding a babysitter when I am trying to get ahead. Of course, my mother in law just informed me that a school was looking for someone to work assistant in the cafeteria for a school. Not sure of the hours, hopefully I can work both schedules. I don't want to give up my KMart one for sure, but can always use that extra money! Ivana - Boy does that turkey chili sounds good, be sure to post the recipe under recipe. That way I have an idea what to do with all that left over turkey after Thanksgiving! *grins* I wonder if I am also that. If I don't get any carbs in me at all in the morning, I get the shakes and dizzy spells..ugh. Kitty - Welcome to the family! There is always room for another lovely agent in our family! I would write more, but I am off to get breakfast and run to my training! I just got the boys off on the bus, so that just leaves me left to get out of here! *laughs* Have a great day everyone! And keep up the great work! Tamara signing out for now!

Afternoon Agents. Thank you for the welcome! Ivana--my sister in laws wedding is not until Sept, so I will have a lot of time to look get to a place where I look good enough to be immortalized in pictures. It is rainy and horrible here in NYC today and I sure do not feel like completing my next assignment--going to the gym. I'm trying to see if I can get there Mon-Fri this week. A lofty goal, I know, but I'm just curious to see if I can do it. I love that Turkey chili, too! Last night I made the herb encrusted fish (flounder with cilantro, lemon juice, garlic and white wine) and it was surprisingly yummy! I highly reccommend it. My husband gave it a big thumbs up. I am not the greatest cook, so anything that gets a thumbs up makes me very happy. Well, I can procrastinate, no longer--the tredmill calls... Hope the rest of everyones day goes smoothly! Hi girls.
I'm trying to stay as close to plan as possible but it isn't always working. But I am also trying to keep up with walking cuz it helps to deal with the stress right?
Tamara, Ivana, Ruby, dutchess, & EVERYONE...Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and support. It means a lot to me.
My best friends parents are there now so that makes me feel better. They are trying another therapy to see if that works. Still waiting on the spinal tap results to see what that shows. Doing a lot better than Monday. Not crying all over the place today.
Welcome to the newbies. You found an amazing place for support and motivation! These women are AMAZING!
I will try to keep posting as I can. I may being going out to see her next week so then I can't say after Weds. the 26th when I'll be back but just know that I won't forget about you or the commitment I made to myself (and you), it just might be on hold for a bit...and thank you so much for your support.
You're doing great...keep it up! (Even if it is w/o me!)
Sky - out
