Good Morning
Well I am still hoarse this morning, although I am not in any discomfort at all. Just some really really really unpleasant drainage.
I have finished my 4 mile walk and fed the outside cats. It is very cold out there, so I made sure that the cats had a warm old blanket to sleep on.
Today is going to go a bit like yesterday did. I do my walk then play the ps2, and then finish getting the leaves up in the yard. After I come in, I will watch a little tv and work on my curtains and hopefully finish them today. Then do the challenge exercises. Then start supper.
I am sore from doing these side kicks and bend and back kick. This is using some different muscles. And I can't keep up with him at all. I showed my dh some of the moves that I do and of course being that I am just starting I have to hold on to a straight chair to anchor myself and keep from tilting over. I have to do them slow but I am trying so hard to keep the correct form even if I only do one repetition.
Menu for day- breakfast slim fast shake
lunch-1 egg on whole wheat toast and some fruit
supper-home made turkey pot pie and a few veggies on the side.
snack-trail mix.
exercise-4 mile walk, push mower, tae bo
Have a great day everyone
I will check in later

good morning! Sounds like you have a nice day planned, Audra. I just had my breakfast - stew. It just sounded good today. It's only 38 degrees out. Yesterday I had to scrape frost off my windshield, and I had to break down and get my winter coat out. I've been really stressed the last few days, and have been way off mission. I will be glad when my hubby is home a little more often, so that I don't feel so overwhelmed with everything. Honestly, though, even when he is done, it will be Thanksgiving weekend, and his folks' 50th anni (and his mother let him know yesterday that she expects a party with all the family - cousins and all - invited. We'd been planning on buying them dinner, but we can't afford to do that, plus throw a shindig. Sigh.). Then, it will be only three weeks until the older kids come for their nearly-month-long holiday visit, so I will have to get the apartment whipped into shape before that happens. So, realistically, it will be the second week of January, after the older two go back to AZ, before I will be able to relax a bit. I skipped the parent group meeting last night, to go to the craft department at wally world. I bought some pretty, christmas-y yarn, and started a poncho. I mean it to be for myself, but I think my stitching is too tight, and it will likely fit princess better. So you know what I'm going to do? Go buy some more of the yarn when I'm done with this one, use a bigger hook, and make a matching poncho for me! Well, anyway. Enough whining and grousing. This is a busy time of year for everyone. My lunch today will be indian food - my friend brought me a whole bag of it yesterday. I will have rice and curried chickpeas, with some flatbread. Dinner, I promised the girls I would get pizza, since we didn't get any last night. Have a good day, everyone.

Hi
I am pleased with all that I accomplished so for. I did the 4 mile walk, roan the mower outside for an hour, did my sit ups and push ups, ate dinner, and straightened up the den a little.
I fixed my egg and put it on my whole wheat toast and my bananas were too old so they had to be thrown away,. I was out of apples so no fresh fruit. I thought I had some canned fruit nope, out of that too. So I opened a can of potatoes. lol I know that just did not seem to go with an egg sandwich and maybe it didn't but it tasted good.
I keep thinking about Jasmines breakfast, it is not a traditional breakfast but I bet it held you up a long time, and that warm stew probably felt so good on the cool morning you had.
About you in laws party could you maybe ask everyone to bring a covered dish instead of a present. After all if they are 60+ yrs old they probably have everything they have ever wanted, so all of the trelatives bringing gifts just does not seem to be needed, but bringing food, so it does not all fall on you, seems to be very appropriate. Does your husband have siblings that can take some of it off of you? After all you do have your own family ,children, job and your step children. and you need to take care of you.
Oh sh**** I just thought of something maybe yall don't do the covered dish thing up there. Down here in the south at any get togeather the first thing that I ask is what can I bring? It is expected at parties and church functions, everybody brings a covered dish.
Anyway try to get some exercise in, you know it is good to releve stress.
those ponchos sound really cute. I love ponchos and i am glad they are coming back in style. They are comfortable and they look stylish.
Have a good evening and I will check back in later.

Finished tae bo -the kicks are getting to be just a little bit easier or maybe I think they are because i am getting familiar with the movements.
I went out earlier and put up my bird feeder. I had to jump hard and grab a branch and pull it down then drape my rope over the branch and then run the rope through the hook on the bird feeder and tie it off. Then I had to unscrew the top from the bottom and fill the bottom and the screw it back togeather. Sometimes i find myself wishing I had an extra set of arms and hands.
I got a lot accomplished today and I am pleased with all that I did. Now i am going to take an early shower.
There are county workers cleaning the ditch that runs beside my house. They cut my favorite tree down, I know it was growing on county property but it was a really pretty tree, I can't think of the name of it. My dh called it a chinaberry tree but I think that is just a local name.
I have decided to have a salad with grilled chicken strips instead of the turkey pot pie.
I will check in later.
