Good morning
Good new, I don't think I am getting sick after all. I feel fine this morning and the only thing wrong is my sinuses. I am hoarse and I do have the normal minor problems associated with a sinus infection, but it is bettier than having a cold.
I got up and I did the 4 mile walk, I probably will work on my challenge exercises late this afternoon. I think around 11:00 am I am going to go out and run the mower to pick up some more leaves.
I have a little house work to do-not much-and so I think I am going to have time to play the ps2. This is a very long and complicated game and I have close to 30 hours in it already and I am only about 1/2 through.
Menu for the day
breakfast-oatmeal
lunch- tuna with lowfat mayo on lettuce, sweet peas, grilled okra, cooked carrots
suppper, veggie burger, yams, oriental veggie mix stir fried with pam spray and soy sauce.
snack-trail mix
exercise-4 mile walk -mowing-challenge exercises
have a great day everyone
I will check in around noon

Wow... you go girl! Sounds like you have quite the day planned today. What are challenge excercises? I am pretty excited this morning, I jumped on the scale for grins and I had my first weight loss ever! I think it was about 2 lbs which is really exciting to me AND I don't have a headache today so I think my body is adjusted to not having the sugars AND I felt motivated to work out even though I don't have time (I have to work till 5p and then I have student clinic until 10p won't be home till 11p ) I hope everyone is having a fabulous day!!!! I'll be back later! Audra... tell me more about yourself. ~J~

good afternoon, all. I never got around to breakfast this morning. I'm eating my lunch now, stew on a piece of dense bread. Not sure what dinner will be. I have a parent group meeting tonight, so the girls and I will probably end up just getting a pizza or something along those lines. Glad to hear you aren't getting a cold, Audra! Are you still playing the same ps2 game that you were, or are you on a different one now? Jocelyn, glad to know the lack of sweets isn't getting you down. And way to go on the weight loss!! Whoo-hoo! ;D Well, I'd best get back to work. I've got a pile on my desk that isn't going to shrink unless I get to it. Have a good day. Talk to you later!

My day so far-I did the 4 mile walk, and I pushed the mower to pick up leaves. Then I did the challenge exercises. Jocelyn, challenge exercises are exercise that I can't do easy, like situps, I can only do one of them-then challenge myselef to do more of them by a certain date. This is what I am working on- I can do 1 sit up now , bu 1-1-2005 I want to be able to do 5. And I can do 4 push ups now with the knees on the floor, by the 1st of the year I want to be able to do 10 of those pushups and one regular push up.
And I want to be able to finish the tae bo tape that I have. I finished it this morning but I did not do everything as many times as Billy Blanks did them.
I did my push ups today, I am really having problems with the push ups because of damage that was done to my shoulder when I had the last accident. I may have to do wall pushes for a while and maybe I can strengthen the bad shoulder.
The situps, I did 1 with hands behind my head and 3 with hands crossed in front of my chest. And I did 10 crunches.
I ate my breakfast and my had lunch.
I have also played the ps2 about 2 hours. It is the same game I have been working on for a few weeks. I have a guide that helps me out when I get stuck. I don't know if you know much about rpgs but it is like "playing" a movie and I get to control what the character is doing.
Jocelyn, good going on the weight loss, and I am glad the sugar craving is not as bad as it was.
You wanted to know a little more about me ok here goes. I will warn you though it is pretty boring.
I am 53 yrs. old and I have been married 29 yrs. to the same man. We have two children. Our oldest is 27 yrs. old and youngest is 25.
We have 2 grandchildren, a boy and a girl.
I have been to college although I did not graduate.
I enjoy playing video games, reading, painting miniature houses, crossword puzzles, the computer, playing with the grandchildren, plastic canvas stitching, crocheting, working in my garden, and spending time with my husband. Not necessarily in that order.
I have lived 53 yrs. and the important pieces of me can be told in just a few short sentances. And those sentances are rather boring.
Talk to you later.

Hello I hope everyone had a good day. I enjoyed learning the new moves in the tae bo tape. Hopefully I can get used to them enough that I will not have to concentrate so hard on each movement cause that really slows me down.
I finished my supper and cleaned up the kitchen finished the laundry and worked on my plastic canvas curtains. I probably have about 4 more hours on them and I will be ready to hang them. Hopefully i will finsh them tomorrow. I already have my next project picked out, It is two bluebirds that are holding a sign that says happy holidays. and there are other Christmas things all around it. I am going to give that to my sister.
OK I am off to bed
Sleep well everyone, and I will talk to you tomorrow.
