I hope everyone is having a nice morning today. I am back at work and feeling a bit better now that I got some sleep. This morning for breakfast I had low fat natural peanut butter toast and an apple. For lunch I am having a salad and Healthy Choice Chicken marinara. I work 8-5 today and then have business class from 6-10, so I won't be home until 11pm (I live on a farm in the middle of nowhere) and have no idea what to have for dinner as yet.
Audra what state do you live in? what do you do for work? I am in Maine. Well, back to work for now, I'll check in later!

Good morning
Good to see you here so early, I am usually the early bird.
I live in SC. I am secretary for my husbands business. He is a self employed professional painter. Mostly what I do is answer the phone and keep up with his appointments. OH and I also spend a lot of time playing on the computer. lol
My dd is coming today and we are going shopping, then we are going to come backand we might do a one mile walk, she has hurt her back last week and she might not be able to do anything. But she is going to try. I got up early and have already done a 4 mile walk.

5:30 pm
I had a great time shopping with my daughter, we stayed out a long time and we went to BK for lunch. I had a salad with chicken and ranch dressing. It was delicious. I know the dressing was not low cal I hope the entire calories was not over 500.
My dh came home early today still sick. He said all he wanted was some soup. So I fixed another salad for me. I am using low calorie Italian dressing on it.
Salads don't hold me up for a long time so I am pretty sure that I will have a cup of trail mix a little later.
When dd and I got back I showed her a tae bo tape I bought at a yard sale, and I did some of the exercises then I tried to do a sit up, Pitiful, just pitiful I did one and could not do another one. Then I tried to do some push ups. Oh my I was so ashamed I could only do 4 of those and those were the bent leg push ups.
So I have decided that I am going to challenge myself and by the 1st of Januarey I want to be able to do 10 bent leg push ups and one straight leg push up. And I will do 5 sit ups with hands behind head. And I will be able to do the 1/2 hour tae bo tape. I will continue to do the 4 mile walk. I don't think that is asking to much of my body.
My dd has taken karate and she got tired of it right before she got her black belt. She said the tae bo is not real physically demanding and as long as I allow for the knees that were injured in an accident years ago. I should be able to do this tape by January.
I hope everyone is having a great day.
Jasmine I miss you , please hurry back.
I will check in later.

hey there, Audra, Jocelyn, and anyone else lurking about. It's been a busy few days for me, which means I'm glad to be back a bit closer to my more normal routine today. Audra, I think we need to try to set up a regular weekly chatting (telephone) time, if you think you can fit it in somewhere. Jocelyn, I read what you posted about missing sweets and such. I'm with Audra on this one. This whole mission is about a lifestyle change for us, not a diet, really. We try to eat realistically for the long haul. Unless you figure you can completely cut sweets out for the rest of your life, I don't advise trying! That's a sure way to sabotage your mission. You'll end up binging for sure. If you allow yourself the occasional treat, and limit the amount you eat, you'll be fine. If you have to have something every day for now, to wean yourself off, why don't you buy a small bag of those little bitty candy bar bites, then have just one. I've found, as Audra mentioned, that I don't crave that stuff like I used to, but if I do, I have it, just in smaller amounts than I would have pre-mission. Audra, I'm sorry to hear about your fire ant problems! Yikes! I'm glad we don't have to deal with those up here. And you and all that exercising, you seriously put me to shame. But, I love you for it. Anyway, I've a pot of stew on the stove, which will be for tomorrow, as it won't be done for an hour. The girls had mac and cheese for dinner. I had leftovers from lunch, chicken, broccoli and rice. Need to scoot. Hope everyone has had a good day. Talk to you later.

Hi Jasmine I am glad you showed up. I was wondering if you had another long vacation weekend.
A phone chat sounds like a good idea Jasmine. Send me a pm and we will work out the details.
I know it sounds like I am doing a lot of exercising but really I'm not it don't take a long time anyway.
I think I am getting sick, I have tried so hard to stay away from my dh but I suppose that it is almost impossible not to pass germs when you live togeather. My throat is very scratchy, and I think I am beginning to run a low grade fever. My joints are beginning ache and my voice is getting hoarse. That don't sound good at all.
I think I am going to bed early. I will talk to you tomorrow.
Sleep well everyone
