Good Morning
I woke up this mornig at 3:30 and could not get back to sleep. I lay there for 30 minutes and then got up and came to the computer to play solitaire, that ususally makes me sleepy. I went back to bed around 5 and slept another hour and then was wide awake again.
I have finished my 4 mile walk. It is getting a little easier, maybe I thought it was more intense because I was not used to it,
Today my plans are, change and wash linens on my bed, straighten up a bit, run mower over the part of my yard that is close to the road, and watch some archaeology shows on the science channel. Supper will be leftovers. Sounds like a pretty easy day.
menu-----
breakfast-oatmeal and prunes
lunch-salad
supper-(leftovers) honey bbq chicken, turnips, green beans, small salad.
snack-trail mix
exercise-4 mile walk and mowing
I will check in later
Have a great day

Good afternoon!
I've had a busy day so far today. I took princess to school, voted, then did two hours of housework, still managing to fit in a bit of work work in the meantime. I had oatmeal for breakfast, and am sitting down to my lunch now. Turkey breast and a slice of muenster cheese on a toasted bagel, with a bit of mustard. The only thing missing is some lettuce, but since I'm out, can't do much about that! I have some squash heating in the microwave to have when I am done with my sandwich. Dinner is going to be shrimp enchiladas and steamed asparagus, with homemade apple pie for dessert (this is the only night hubby will be home this week, so I'm going to make a nice dinner).
My brother and his girlfriend are supposed to be coming for a visit at some point today. I don't know when, though.
I was thinking, Audra, about our commentary from yesterday on the weigh-in. The reason I don't feel like I've been trying much lately is because I haven't been getting my exercising in. I haven't really been trying to do so in the last few weeks. Eating-wise, I have still - for the most part - stayed on mission. So I guess I'm making an effort in some areas, but feel I need to be making more of an effort in others. That is what I have to work on. It isn't as though I've completely abandoned my mission. If I had, I wouldn't have lost weight, I'd have gained.
Well, I'm going to finish my sandwich, then get back to work. Have a good day!

Hi, I finished mowing, and washed sheets, and remade bed.
I have had my oatmeal and prunes, and I had a little pasta and some veggies, and a little bbq cchicken from last night,
My dd hurt her back today. She was brushing her teeth and she bent over to spit in the sink and she said something just grabbed at her lower back and she could not straighten up. She had to go to the dr. He said it was a muscle spasm, and he gave her 3 different meds to take and told her not to go to work until Sat.
Her husband took her and they stopped by here she looked so pitiful. and there was nothing that I could do to make her better.
I will check in later.

anyone want a couple of whiny kids? I'm so tired of listening to whining and crying I could just about scream. It's been a long night, and I'm beat. Dinner was good, though it was more time-intensive to make than what I usually do. It was corn tortillas stuffed with spinach, shrimp, garlic, and a bit of feta cheese, topped with a pureed spinach/vegetable broth sauce. I used the small-size tortillas, so I had two of them for dinner. I also had a small piece of pie, with one sthingy (about 1/4 cup) of vanilla ice cream. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's back, Audra. That's rough, especially when you know you can't do anything about it. Well, have a good night. I just don't feel like writing any more. Talk to you tomorrow.

Sorry your kids are giving you a hard time. I would tell mine that grumpy people had to go to bed early. That usually got them in a happier mood.
I did all that I intended to do today. So I feel pretty good about that. I did get a little bit too much sun when I was pushing the mower. I got a little sunburn.
For supper I was a very bad girl. I grabbed my dh when he came home and said lets go to Mcds and get a milkshake so that's what we did. Then we drove around trying to spot deer and watching the wild turkeys in fields, and drinking our milkshakes. I did not have any supper. I did eat a cup of dry cereal. The dairy (icecream)was good for me the sugar was bad for me. OH well I was sooooooo ready for something really sweet and, well, decadent.
DDs back is some better, I called a couple of hours ago. She said she was going to bed early and she was not in pain and that her meds were really good.
I will talk to everyone tomorrow
Sleep well.
