Good Morning
I am so glad that I found this place. It really gives me motivation to keep going when sometimes I want to give up and just sink my face into a basket of cake candy cookies. It gives me strength to come here and post about my day. It gives me strength to know that othewrs are going through the same things that I do. And it gives me strength to know that I have diet buddies here that will help me over the weak moments that I have.
I forget to tell you that I drink a lot of water everyday. I read somewhere that water metabolizes fat cells. I am not sure exactly what that means but it sounds good. So I drink water. I grab a cold sports bottle as soon as I wake up (instead of coffee) and I drink that for about 1 hours then I fix a small cup of coffee with my breakfast. I will drink about 3 or 4 big sports bottles of water a day.
I have finished my workout and now i am resting. Shortly I will start doing the little wifely things. And about 1 pm I will run the mower over the front yard..
Menu for the day
breakfast- oatmeal
lunch-salad
supper- baked chicken breast, brussel sprouts, green beans, grilled eggplant.
snack-trail mix
exercise-4 mile walk and 45 to 60 minutes pushing mower
I will check in later
Have a good day

Good morning, Audra, and everyone else lurking about, too. I'm just finishing my breakfast - two blueberry pancakes, two smokee links. As soon as I am done here, I need to go get the cake for the party decorated. I doubt we will have lunch today, as the party is at 3pm, and we are eating there. Lasagna and pizza will be the offerings, along with salad and breadsticks. Portion control will be the order of the day. It was a beautiful night for a walk around the zoo last night. The weather was just beautiful, cool, but not cold. I ended up with just under 16000 steps for the day yesterday. Not too shabby. Anyway, I'd better scoot. Have a good day! Talk to you later.

1:03 PM
Just finished my lunch and boy was it delicious-much much better that what I had planned to eat. Dh brought in a meal from the local country cafe. It was 1 country fried pork chop a little bigger than the palm of my hand, about3/4 cup of steamed cabbage, about 3/4 cup cole slaw, about 3/4 cup of potatoes salad, and about 3/4 cup of peach cobbler, and about 3 small pieces of corn bread. I figured that adding all the stuff that I ate from that meal it probably will run between 800 and 1000 calories.
That is a lot of calories, and so here is what I am going to do to pay for this meal. I had not had my oatmeal , so I will just not eat that, I did have juice, but the lunch was a little bit later so I probably will not eat any supper and if I do it will be something like a pack of oatmeal or some cereal. I think I can balance it out.
I also did the mowing and the 4 mile walk which also pays for the extravagant meal that I ate. Plus I might talk dh into going for a 2 mile wak later this afternoon.
It might have been better for me to not eat the meal but still I don't think it is going to do any damage as long as I don't continue to overindulge.
OK talk to you later.
Jasmine I am glad you had a nice time last night. It is nice getting out and doing something different sometimes. And I hope you are having a great time at your dads b-day party. And I hope you are showing more restraint than I did.
