Good Morning
I am doing a spy sweep and a norton scan and just all around maintenence on my computer. I paid a lot for these things and I am not going to let them go to waste. Especially when it might keep me from having any more problems with my computer. When I went to do these things I found that I had to update spy sweeper and that is what is going on now.
I have finished my 4 mile walk and finished my 15 minutes on the weight machine.
I don't have any thing planned for today. just some minor straightening and then I will play my game. I am at a place that I have to colect to get my characters to a higher level. That is the boring part of the game. But if I want to beat it I have to make my little guys strong. I sound like a kid. Oh well I know that they are putting video games in care facilities cause it is good for eye hand coordination and it is good for keeping the mind active so I don't feel to ashamed that I play videos. It keeps me young at heart.
I am also going to work on my curtains this afternoon. If I don't get a little busier on them I will never finish them. I want to get through with them because there is a pilgrim woman that I want to see if I can make and turn into a flag for outside. The pilgrim woman is holding a basket and there is fruit and vegetables in it and across her apron says happy thanksgiving.
Menu for the day
Breakfast- oatmeal and juice (just finished that up)
lunch -salad
supper -salmon, green beans, yams, steamed cabbage
snack-trail mix
exercise-4 mile walk and 15 minutes on weight machine.
I will check in later Have a good day

good morning! Breakfast today is two freezer waffles (plain). Originally I was going to have oatmeal. I fixed my last pack, and was on my way to my desk to eat, when I managed to drop the bowl, and splat the oatmeal clear across the floor. Sigh. Got that cleaned up, then toasted my waffles. Lunch will be a salad with a leftover chicken breast cut up on it. I'm making Moroccan Chicken (the recipe I posted a while back) for dinner tonight. The kids will likely have something else, but that's okay. This way, hubby will have good leftovers to take for his lunch tomorrow, and I'll have something quick and easy, but healthy, to heat up for myself, as well. Audra, your idea is a good one, for doing the shorter exercise time throughout the day. I may have to do that. I can either do the one mile tape, or segments of the three mile (I've still never found the four mile at any stores up here). I prefer to do it all at once, but you are also right in saying it is better to do a little than to do none at all, which is what happens now when I don't have time to do it all in one shot. I got home too late this morning to do any before I had to start work, but I will try to do a little during my lunch break, before I eat. The curtain panels sound pretty, Audra. Do you hook them together, or leave them separate when you hang them? I really enjoy cross stitch. I haven't done any in a while, only because I was doing so much crocheting. Maybe I'll pull out a project to work on. It has the added benefit of keeping hands busy, and away from food, especially since you definitely don't want to be eating while you are handling the canvas! Have a good day. Talk to you later.

Since I ate my oatmeal so early this morning, I got hungrier earlier than usual. You ever noticied how oatmeal does not seem to hold you up very long?
Anyway, I ate my lunch a little bit earlier also. I think I like this plan at least for now eat breakfast earlier then eat lunch about 11 to 11:30 and then eat supper around 4:30. That way I don't go to bed with a full tummy. Lets see how long I can keep eating like that once dh gets back to his normal schedule. Probably the first night will change the supper routine. lol
Ok back to my game. I am going to allow myself 1/2 hour longer to play and then i am going to straighten my den and watch tv and then do some plastic canvas.
Dh is coming home a little earlier tonight so i do have to cook but what he wants is not something that I can eat because of my stomach problems. So that will not interfere with my determination to eat a little early.
I will check in later.

Hi
Ijust finished my supper, I am so full. Why do I do that? True it is not a lot of calories, it was a lot of low calorie veggies. Steamed cabbage, no seasoning in except salt, leftover grilled squash, microwaved asparagus, 1 small yam, 1 serving of green beans and a small piece of salmon, less than the size of my palm. So you can see that it is a very good meal healthy and low calorie. I wonder if it is bad for me to eat a lot when it is so low calorie. I keep feeling guilty about eating so much, and then I say to my self but it was not high calorie. BUT maybe I am just trying to make it alright. Maybe I am lying to myself and boy do I detest liars, I especially dislike liars that lie to themselves and I totally detest people that believe their lies.
So you tell me Am I eating wrong, should i change the way that I over eat sometimes.
You see one of my problems is when it is good I really want to eat a lot. But I am supposed to be trying to change old habits. And I am not supposed to over indulge just because I like it.
Ok I just answered my question I am supposed to eat moderately. and I am supposed to be able to control myself because while this is not bad for me, The holidays are coming and I can not indulge just because I want to. I have to train myself to eat in moderation.
I think I will start eating off of a dessert plate. It is bigger than a saucer and smaller that a dinner plate. That should be enough for me to be satisfied and yet not over eat. And maybe I will learn to reduce portion size. I hope that works.
Thanks for listening, talk to you later.

Oh Jasmine I forgot to answer your question. the side of the panels are all sewn togeather, it is all on piece and then the topper is one piece.
I think if you like cross stitching you would also like doing plastic canvas. It really does work up a lot faster. My daughter does cross stitch. About 4 months ago she finished a piece she had been working on for 4 years. It was of a long chinese dragon. It was beautiful. but it took a really long time.
Since then she has stated doing plastic canvas and she just finished her first plastic canvas piece. It was a halloween tree with ghost peeping aroung the side and bats and pumpkins. She did good considering it was her first one.
I will check in later
