Good Morning
It is a little chilly here this morning. I love this time of the yr. It is not real cold and it is not hot. Tonight it is supposed to drop into the 50's, and wednesday night it is supposed to drop to the 40"s. I guess our summer is over with.
Today my dd comes to do her laundry. I will probably do a 3 mile walk with her when she gets here. And then tonight I will go for a two mile walk with my dh. And that will be my exercise for the day.
My menu for the day-------
breakfast-oatmeal and juice
lunch-salad
supper-grilled okra, veggie burger on one slice bread, one portabello grilled mushroom on top and some grated chedder cheese on that, baked sweet potatoe, green beans
Snack-trail mix
exercise- 3 mile walk and later a two mile walk
I am going to try to gather up all of the scattered piieces of candy and put them in a bowl and then put some small tupperware bowls of trailmix in the places that I did have candy. That way I will snack on that instead of the candy. They both have calories but at least with the trail mix I am getting calories that come with a small amount of fiber and maybe some other good things. I put raisens in it and also whole wheat cereal and pretzels and a small amount of nuts and other things that I can't think of right now. So it is not unhealthy just unneeded. lol

I have had a very good day. I ate good and I exercised. My dd called early and said she was going to be a few hours yet so I did a 4 mile walk. dI am glad that I did because when she got here she really was not feeling too good, and she did not feel like exercising.
Then at noon my dh said he had a rush on the job he was doing and he would be a little late getting in. That meant that I would not be able to go on the 2 mile walk with him. So I did a short walk on my tread mill, only a mile but it was intense and i did feel so good when I got through.
