Merry Christmas Eve, Agents!!
First of all, I would like to wish all of you a Happy Holiday season....whatever you may be celebrating at this time of year...remember what the season is all about.....joy and happiness....and new beginnings!!
I feel pretty sure that none of us who started on this mission all those weeks ago have adhered to the program we so desperately wanted to adhere too....but since this is a season of new beginnings, I plead with all of you to begin again....together....and that we make it our renewed mission to start the program again, with no looking back at this last attempt. Honestly, it may not have been the best time to start....with Halloween, then Thanksgiving, now Christmas & New Year's....
January 5th is a Monday, and I, for one, plan to start fresh on the program on that day. Anyone care to join me in a new Week One?? ;D
I will be making some modifications for my menu plan, even though they're not part of the plan, I know it will help me get through it easier....like a glass of milk at bedtime, or some hot chocolate in the morning. (sugar free, but still hot chocolate...)
I hope everyone is enjoying the Spirit of Christmas, and all that should come with it. I'm not a religious person by any means, but I love this time of year for what it should mean to people. I take that to heart, and enjoy the time I spend with my family. I hope everyone hear does the same.
I'm signing off for now, to make a final trip to Wal-Mart for some picture frames for my parents and Grandmother.
Tinkerbell, saying Merry Christmas to all..... ;D

Happy Holidays Agents! Yes, Tinkerbell, I for one have certainly not stuck to the plan, but I would definitely like to join you on Jan 5th for a new week one. The holidays have certainly made it difficult and last weekend was my older son's 2nd birthday which meant lots of cake and pizza. I've just about thrown my hands up. I am psyched to start fresh with a clean slate in Jan. I hope all of our other agents will come out of hiding in the new year. This is Kitty wishing everyone a joyful holiday and a happy new year!

Hello again, Agents! Hope everyone had a great Christmas Day! I know for a lot of people, all weekend will be Christmas, so keep enjoying this holiday season! ;D I'm glad you'll be joining me on Jan.5, Kitty!! I could use some support, because my weakness for pizza and sweets is as strong as ever. I'm off to yet another Christmas party, so here's hoping I can stick to the veggie tray instead of the cookies! Tinkerbell, signing (or sighing) off for now...

Good Morning, Agents!!
How's everyone today?? It's a beautiful day here in S.W. PA, and I'm off to work. I'm the accountant for a chain of self-serve car washes, and on Saturdays we count money, so today will be a very busy day for us since it's so nice outside.
I sat down and looked through my program book last night, just to get a little more psyched about starting the new 1st week on Jan.5. I'm going to try to come up with some recipes/meals that I can prepare this week and freeze for future meals. I'm at least going to do that for my kids meals, because then I won't have to be rushed to make dinner for them, and also a separate meal for me, because that was often where I caved in to easy meals. Does anyone know if there's a Type B cookbook available? I haven't been on the Provida boards lately at all...I always come here. Maybe I'll look through those recipes again.
I look forward to seeing some more posts here!! We need to stick together!!

Hello Agents!!
How's everyone this fine Monday morning? Now that Christmas is quickly losing its momentum, a new chapter begins....New Beginnings....that's what this thread is called, right? Lets take that to heart...together.
Next Monday begins my new chapter, and I'm preparing for it this week. I went grocery shopping last night, and am preparing meals this week for myself and my family. Today I'll be making stuffed peppers and meatloaf from the recipe cards, and cooking lots of chicken to freeze in individual portions.
Does anyone here have a thyroid condition? I have hypothyroidism (underactive), and I was reading in a magazine last night that certain foods can make your thyroid even more sluggish....I was a bit disheartened because some of the foods are high on my list, such as broccoli, spinach, cauliflower and strawberries. Has anyone ever heard of that? I'm not a huge vegetable eater, but I love broccoli. It's a staple for me, and I hate to lose it, but I also don't want it to make my thyroid worse. Any suggestions?
As always, I hope everyone is well and happy....
Remember how we were feeling back in October or so?? We were all so hopeful, so determined....we can get back to that feeling, and achieve great results.
I was on the Provida sight last night, looking at before and after pictures, and let me tell you...some of them are sooooo inspiring. One in particular caught my eye, and I'm going to try to put a link to it on here so you can all see it. If I can't do it now, I'll try again later. This girl lost over 90 lbs in 7 months, and looks like a completely different person. It's amazing. It's definitely an inspiration to me.
Everyone here has been an inspiration to me, because in coming here and seeing everyone who took the time to join us and tell us about themselves....it lets me know that we are not alone in this....that we stumble and fall and have setbacks, but we all have a common goal. That's reassuring.
I need to get to the mess that is my living room. I'm trying to look at it as burning calories as I clean, but it still doesn't look fun.

Happy New Year, Bond Girls!!
Another year is in the past.....time for new beginnings. I hope everyone had a safe and fun New Year's Eve...I went to a party, but was home by 10:30, asleep by 11. I'm not much for loud and smokey bars, so I'd just rather be home. Too many crazies out there.
As I said before, Monday is my new Week One, and I'm more determined than ever to make this work. I'd appreciate any support I could get.

Welcome, Trish!
You can go to the debriefing room from the home page to tell us about yourself, but you can also do that here too...I know I read these boards more often then I go to the debriefing room. I usually come straight to here.
Did you start the program yet? Many of us here started a few months ago, but due to all the temptations and obstacles which make up the lonnnggg Holiday season, we're starting a new Week One this Monday, Jan. 5. But no matter where you are in the program, whether it's 1st week, 8th week, or Living Lean, you are welcome here.
We can do anything if we keep our mind to it!!
Again, welcome!

Sky here -
First I have to apologize, I am so sorry I have been MIA again for so long. Please forgive me!
There is soo much to tell!
My best friend has been home since X-mas Eve. She surprised me on X-mas Day by answering the door at her parents house. That's a long long story. I'm very glad to see her. They never did figure out what was wrong with her. She just found out what she had to do to be released from rehab and did it...5 mins. before her dad came to get her. She'll be rehabbing herself for the next few weeks and trying to get back to some semblence of normal. Most of my free time has been spent with her.
The holidays. Filled with drama let me tell you. A really close friend of mine is getting married this weekend. So lots of "friend" time. And that is never without drama.
Merry Christmas (late) & I hope everyone had a nice New Year's. And that you avoided all the crazy drivers!
I am going to make every effort to start with you all on Monday.
Tinkerbell - I just have to tell you, you inspire me, you post here almost every day even if no one responds. I am apologize for not being here to reply.
Ivana - Nice to see you here again. I hope you get your connection problems figured out soon!
Trish - Welcome...welcome! Tinkerbell is right you can tell us all about yourself here or in the other spot. Either way we're glad you found this place.
There used to be quite a few of us here. But now it's usually just a few. But it's a great place for support. We did all start this journey a few months ago but life happens and some like myself fell off the wagon. But the great thing is you can just get right back on and start over!!
Hang in there, we can do this...together!
I've missed you all! Let's hope 2004 brings us all happiness & success!
Take care - Sky out
